Details

The 2808 is a rugged transmitter designed for rough service applications. The NEMA 4X enclosure and 316 SS wetted parts provide reliable service in hazardous environments and with corrosive media. The 2808 is rated for Class I, Division 1 installations.

The 2808 also provides high accuracy, adjustable ranges, non-interacting calibration and zero elevation and suppression. For battery and solar power systems, operating voltage is as low as 6 Vdc. In the 1 - 5 V output mode, nominal current draw is only 1.6 mA. The user can also select the 4 - 20 mA mode in the field with as low as 12 Vdc applied voltage.

  • 2808-15A Pressure Transmitter w/internal diaphragm - accurately measures Gauge Pressure and is capable of being installed directly on a process pipe.
  • 2808-16A Flush Diaphragm Transmitter - especially designed to eliminate the need for a separate diaphragm seal when measuring the pressure or levels of dirty process liquids with suspended solids such as pulp stock, slurries and waste water. The 2808-16A eliminates the temperature errors associated with remote seals and capillary systems.
  • 2808-35A Differential Pressure Transmitter - measures the differential pressure across a venturi, orifice plate or similar device. Square root function is included.
