Helicoid 900 Series Gauge
These include dry, liquid-filled, sealed, wall, flush or stem mount. This allows the same basic gauge to be used for virtually any application, thereby minimizing the need to inventory special gauges.
Features:
- Colored cases for customer coding of system assembly materials, process media, or hazardous service
- Liquid-filled or sealed case solid front gauges with either back or bottom connections
- Liquid-filled or sealed case gauges with external zero adjustment
- Liquid-filled gauges supplied with S6 snubber as standard
- Snap fit flush and wall mounting rings adaptable to eight socket locations. Colors to match case
- Built-in overload/underload movement stops
- All stainless steel mounting hardware
- Threaded Lens Retaining Ring. Colors to match case
Case
Made of glass-filled polyester, a material superior in many ways to conventional phenolic. It's twice as strong, tolerates a wider range of temperatures, and offers greater corrosion resistance. It also features an integral solid wall behind the dial, and a full blow-out back to minimize the danger of pressure build-up. The case is designed and tested to exceed MIL-STD-G-18997 rupture standards. Available in black, red, green, yellow or blue for customer color coding applications.
Internals
The movement is secured to the massive socket rather than a separate plate or case wall. The gauge withstands 40ft. # of torque. This prevents damage or calibration shift if torque is applied to case during installation or by misaligned pipe connections. Both span/zero adjustments can be made easily from the back of the case. If a major repair is necessary, the internals can be replaced as a complete unit.
Exclusive Can & Roller Movement
High frequency vibrations and system pulsation cause rapid wear of gear teeth in conventional gauge movements. Helicoid's cam and roller movement contains no gears. If offers as much as ten times the service life of conventional gauges. Constructed of 300 Series stainless steel with precision molded glass-filled Ryton bearings. Corrosion and wear are virtually eliminated. Underload and overload stops are built in to prevent damage from sudden pressure drops or surges.
Exclusive External Zero Adjust
Standard on every gauge, Helicoid provides the fine micrometer adjustment from the rear of the gauge eliminating the need for lens removal. Even liquid-filled and sealed case models are furnished with this feature.
Quality construction. Long service life. Broad application flexibility. No other gauge offers so much at a competitive price.
