This features makes it an ideal processor engine for telecommunications or industrial automation applications requiring performance, distributed processing.
The board is designed to operate in CompactPCI/MP, the multiprocessing architecture that accommodates a system master CPU and up to 31 peripheral masters such as the multi-processor board.
The board features 512 K of L2 cache, up to 128 Mb of Error Correcting SDRAM, 4 Mb of Flash Memory, CompactFlash expansion, and a feature set of on-board input/output (I/O). This I/O includes 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet, serial, parallel, USB, watchdog timer, and keyboard and mouse connections.
