Interface for Communicating to Multiple Devices

Eason Technologyology, Inc. introduces a smart PLC and Motion Control Operator Interface ideal for connection to multiple devices from multiple vendors. The Model 2300 offers programmable touchscreen HMI as well as 2 serial communication ports (RS232/422/485), a programming port, and a PS2 keyboard port.

The Model 2300 is NEMA 4/12 and CE rated when panel mounted, and is designed withstand tough factory and outdoor environments. It requires minimal panel and cabinet space, and requires no additional cooling. The Model 2300 is designed for applications requiring operator input, operator prompting, process or machine monitoring, and communication to other controls and/or process equipment. Operator entry is performed via standard touchscreen. Pop-up dialog boxes facilitate alpha & numeric data entry.

The Model 2300 is easily configured and controlled using Eason's WinBuild 2000 software. Users can generate complete programs including graphics, control code, tag tables, recipes, and alarms in a Windows point-and-click environment. The use of powerful macros, coupled with the ability to embed BASIC and C-code modules into the program, give maximum flexibility. Drivers for PLCs and Motion Controllers are also included in the software.
