Industrial Circuit Protection Device

Cooper Bussman, Inc.UBEFuse over-current protection device allows 30- and 60-ampere fuse bases to be ganged together. Units can be either snapped onto a 35mm DIN rail or mounted directly on the panel. For added simplicity, a 30-ampere CUBEFuse can be inserted into a 60-ampere base, eliminating the need for a fuse reducer.

The device provides Class J Time-Delay performance in footprint space less than that of a Midget of Class CC fuse block. The device's rectangular construction optimizes mounting space, resulting in a small footprint that frees up panel space for other components. The dimensions for a 3-pole 30-ampere case size fuse assembly is approximately 2 1/2 inches cubed. A 3-pole 60-ampere assembly is approximately 3 inches cubed.

The device uses a recessed blade style terminal. The blades are positioned and provided with an extended insulating sleeve to prevent personal contact with any energized component of the device during normal operation.
