The tester provides LED output indicators for two quadrature channels and an index as an aid in troubleshooting and equipment set-up. It can be used for field troubleshooting, incoming inspection, and to check the operation of encoded motors. It comes with an instruction booklet that includes connection diagrams for all the common encoder output types and voltages. Circuitry for the Tester is packed in a standard housing that mounts to an external DIN rail type EN 50 022. For ease of installation, a length of DIN rail is supplied with each Tester.
