Herndon, VA (June 24, 2003) Deltek Systems, the ERP Vendor of Choice for Project-Based Businesses™, today reinforced its complete dominance of federal contracting business backed by statistics recently released by Washington Technology. Half of the ‘Top 100 Federal Prime Contractors - 2003' use Deltek software and services, and for the fifth-consecutive year, a staggering 90 percent of the Top 10 ranked companies are Deltek clients. Deltek clients represent over 80 percent of the $32.5 billion in contract revenues reported for the Top 100.

The Top 100 is widely considered to be the definitive ranking of leading companies in the federal IT market. Rankings are determined by government revenue data extracted from the General Services Administration and analyzed by Federal Sources Inc., Eagle Eye Inc., and Washington Technology. Deltek's client base commands over 80 percent of this total contracts revenue, representing $26.7 billion in government contracts.

Deltek – and Deltek clients – continue to drive the market space. Deltek clients making the top 10 ranking include: Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Science Applications International, Boeing, Computer Sciences Corporation, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Electronic Data Systems and BAE Systems.

Several Deltek clients made substantial business growth gains over the prior year. For example, BAE Systems moved from 21 to 10th place, L-3 Communications moved from 28 to 12th place, Veridian moved from 53 to 22nd place, and PEC Solutions moved from 73 to 42nd place.
