The ProConOS Gateway allows you to do remote maintenance via a Local Area Network (LAN), Internet or via a direct-dial modem. Since many networks are broken down into sub-networks, going from Internet to an Intranet or plant wide LAN requires a "bridge" to be established to go from one network to another or from server to server. The ProConOS Gateway allows you to run Multiprog on your PC and connect to ProConOS running at a remote site while maintaining security over the web. Once the connection is established you have the power of Multiprog to check and analyze the application, develop, download, activate and debug new control programs. The goal is to reduce the maintenance cost of your control installation. By using the ProConOS Gateway you can provide better application suppport while saving time and money.

The ProConOS Gateway allows you to 'bridge" from network to network to make a ProConOS OPC Server connection to the ProConOS run time software. By using the industry standard OPC interface, you can pick and choose the software you need for your application. The Combination of the ProConOS Gateway and ProConOS OPC Server give you an easy way to read and write data to the remote ProConOS run time engine. It's easy, fast and is up and running in no time.
