Action Instruments: NEW AIOS I/O
The AIOS 2500 is a modular, scalable device that is well suited to a variety of applications including:
- Local, stand-alone analog and on/off control
- PC-based data logging
- Analog alarm monitoring
- Remote ("slave") I/O for PC-based data acquisition and control systems
- Remote ("slave") I/O for PLC-based systems
The main advantages of the AIOS 2500 lie in three key areas:
Communicating Controller: It is a full-featured controller developed by one of the most experienced industrial control companies in the world.
Intelligent Alarm Monitor: Alarms can be triggered upon violation of a high or low threshold, or upon a deviation from a constant, sensed input or calculated value.
Remote Modbus or Profibus I/O: The modularity of the AIOS 2500 makes it easy to create an I/O "block" with just the right mix of I/O.
The AIOS 2500 is configured using iTools software, which is Windows 95, 98 and NT compatible.
