These courses can be tailored to cover a single vendor's PLC or multiple PLCs. It always includes a lab portion in which students are able to program appropriate PLCs and simulate inputs and outputs to test their lab projects. Each course also includes a useful manual, which each pupil keeps for future reference. The manual covers everything the pupil will need to program and troubleshoot the given brand of PLC.
