Two – $5000 Scholarships Available from AutomationSolutions

PETALUMA, CA – AutomationSolutions International announces the Hal Ulrich, Jr. Memorial Scholarship. In memory of a special associate and friend who lost his life on April 19, 2000, AutomationSolutions is offering two $5000 scholarships to qualified, exemplary engineering students. Applications are being accepted through December 1, 2001, and winners will be notified by December 15, 2001.

Applicants must be classified as a Senior when entering the Spring 2002 quarter or semester, and must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4 point scale. Their major field of study must be either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Application requirements include a cover letter, a list of extracurricular activities, work experience and honors, as well as an essay describing the applicants plans to work in the high technology machine automation market. Hal Ulrich, Jr. passed away while serving others on April 19, 2000. His family was his life, and he always gave much more to his company and community than he received. His generous spirit was evident through his dedication to the Concord Township volunteer fire department, and to nearly every charitable event in his community. Hal is survived by his wife, a daughter and a son. He will be forever missed as a friend and loyal associate to all at AutomationSolutions.
